Plans and Stuff

Hello, everyone. I know it's been a while since I last posted here (aside from that post I deleted back in August), but I've got a few things to announce. As you guys know, I took 2022 off from music reviewing, since I was really burnt out and needed some time to recuperate and focus on other things. However, I feel like a bit of that spark of passion and creativity is starting to come back a bit, so I'd like to announce that I am going to be returning to music reviews... kind of. See, the only thing I can confidently say that I'm going to do is make lists for 2021 and 2022, the two year-end lists that I missed. These will not come at a very fast pace, if I started working on 2021 right now, the worst list would probably come out around March or even April. These lists will definitely be something that I work on one step at a time, but even a step here and there will eventually get you to where you're going,

If I get done with 2021 and 2022 and still feel energized and passionate, I'd probably go back and look at some years from the 2000s. I only got three years from that decade done, and I feel as though I have some unfinished business left to do. I've also thought of doing decade-end lists for the 2010s and ranking every Year-End #1 in Billboard history, but once again, that depends on how much energy and motivation I have to do these lists. Lastly, I planned on doing album reviews last year but ultimately scrapped the idea, but I might go through with it this coming year. I'd only be reviewing albums that I own or have otherwise listened to in the past, but that's still doing something at least. Albums I'm looking at reviewing include Night Visions by Imagine Dragons, 24K Magic by Bruno Mars and the big four Michael Jackson albums from Off The Wall to Dangerous. I'm definitely not going to be pumping out reviews like I was in the first half of 2020, but I'll try to at least get a few things done in 2023. Take care, everyone, hope you had a Merry Christmas (or whatever holiday you celebrate) and have a Happy New Year!
